That's a great price. A lot of places will charge a lot more than £12 for the print alone.

CS is fine. Adobe mostly move things around and improve on the speed and ease of various techniques. I may use CS5.5 at the moment, but take it from someone who's been using Photoshop for nearly 20 years. It's all good! 3ed party applications will always help you cut corners.
