    Jessops Big Cat Days

I guess my issue is at the moment is that I'm not confident enough with my camera skills to commit to doing more than one day. I've been doing a fair amount of reading and will probably take a beginners D-SLR course locally before doing anything with the cats. I don't want to waste such a...

    Jessops Big Cat Days

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm going to wait until this awful weather gives us a break and book one of these days. I just need to overcome the desire to want to fuss one of them under the chin.

    Jessops Big Cat Days

That one looks cool, although I have some kind of affinity to Tigers having handled some cubs a few years ago. I'm a bit cat mad so I'd quite happily go with the other course too. I've searched high and low for a review but can't see to find any feedback at all.

    Misleading or unhelpful photography terms

I thought it was a Eastern European take on Bukkake? :naughty:

    Jessops Big Cat Days

Has anybody been on one of Jessops big cats days? I'm more interested as it involves big cats than the supplier of the course (I get the feeling that Jessops, rightly or wrongly, generally take a beating here). Does anybody know what the course is like and how much time you get to try...

    Flickr or Photobucket?

Flickr for me, never tried Photobucket. I'm only at the stage that I use it for sharing with family overseas anyway.

    Tutorial Photography Guide: Light Trails

I've been wondering how to do this for a while. My interest was perked up again by a magazine article in Digital SLR Mag. I haven't had a chance to read the full thread, has anybody don't this in an urban setting with people? I'm wondering if light trails and people trails work out?

What is your subject and why?

Phil, Excellent advice, thank you. You are right, it is starting to consume me. I've discovered that getting the right shot is unbelievably satifisfying. I even caught myself critisizing a friends portrait pictures the other day  I guess my next step is to enrol in a class or...

What is your subject and why?

I'd bet I can find a pay-per-view website for that exact combination!

What is your subject and why?

I feel like a right git at times taking pictures and getting in peoples faces. I have now bought a 75-300mm for the Sony so people don't notice too much. I'm yet to master taking pictures of things that move. I have the art of blur down to a tee.

What is your subject and why?

I guess my issue is that right now I lack some vision. I'm starting to see some things in a different light but at totally the wrong moment. An example would be an old bike tyre around satellite dish. I was driving past and thought it would make an excellent bit of urban photography. I just...

What is your subject and why?

I'm fairly new to the forum and photography, I bought my camera an age ago (so it seems) and never really used it. Since I have been using I've taken a lot of pictures of my cats. Mainly because they have been there. I haven't really found my niche yet of what I want to specialise in or...

    Camera Bags

Thanks for the link Gary. I've already looked here but I find, like Amazon, that reviews from sites are no substitute for real life experience. 87% of women prefer our new shampoo...........37 women tested and 2 of them might have been crossdressers!

    Camera Bags

That is a really nice bag!! The great thing is that it doesn't look like it is camera bag. I'm a bit of a bag whore in general which is an issue for me.
