    Nikon Or Zeiss?

How do you find the distortion? Colour rendition? Contrast difference between the lenses? Edge to edge sharpness?

    Nikon Or Zeiss?

It would also mean I can ditch my current awkward and heavy filter system.

    Nikon Or Zeiss?

Hi guys. Thanks for the response. I find I very seldom use the Nikon at 14mm. Widest is probably 18mm. I'm looking to the zeiss to make me work harder to find compositions rather than zoom in or out. Also manual focus to slow my work flow in the field down. I will be using the zeiss for...

    Nikon Or Zeiss?

Hi, Looking for a little bit of advice from those in the know. I currently have a Nikon 14-24mm f2.8 G ED lens which I am considering selling. Looking to replace this with the Carl zeiss 21mm f2.8 ZF t* Distagon. Do you think this is a move in the right direction?

ProGrey USA wide angle filter system

Having recently purchased the Nikon 14-24mm f2.8 lens I desperately needed to find a filter system for its bulbous front element. There are a few systems on the market now but after reading some negative reviews and doing a little research I wasn't convinced. Heavy colour casts and some quite...

I have a few places on my hit list like - The old man of storr, the Quiraing, Elgol and Neist point. My question is, does anyone know or can any one recommend if these locations are best shot at...

Beginner Colour cast from ND filter

Hey, was wondering the best way to go about removing colour cast from an image taken with a 10 stop nd filter. I have a 77mm tiffen ND filter. It has a magenta cast on the image. I shoot raw so can resolve it fairly easily, trouble I seem to have with it is it turns greens in the image to...

    Photos in your home

I don't think it's strange. I don't have any of my work on the walls though that is because i believe i haven't taken anything of good enough quality to hang on my walls. Been in other houses with photographs taken by the occupant and was pretty jealous. A unique piece of art work really can...

    School boy error!!

Yeah, setting are displayed in the viewfinder, was so over awed at the noise i just started pinging shots off. Perhaps ruined was too strong a word. I like crisp images, not a fan of grain. so as asked previously - here is an example. Noisy Jet by Gavin_D2009, on Flickr
