    Wedding Photographer

+1 for Richards advice. I would consider myself as a fairly good 'hobbyist' photographer. All my family think I'm pretty good. However, when my niece asked my to photograph her wedding this November, my answer was a straight, sorry, no. To add to that, my sister-in-law got remarried last...

Has anyone completed the Photography Institute online course?

I've been following this thread with interest and I will be signing up to do the course soon With regard to the "scuffed copies" email that a few of us got, there still seems to be 3 copies left  I was clearing out emails and out of curiosity followed the link on the original email they...

    Elements 9 smart albums

Afternoon folks. I finally bit the bullet last week and bought myself Adobe Elements 9 for my Mac. I wanted that extra wee bit of creativity! However, I seem to be having a problem organising files. I've had a look around the forum and the Web, but I can't seem to find the answer to the...

    Photography on the Underground

I was down in London with the family last November and I snapped away to my hearts content while we travelled around on the underground. I took pics on the platforms, trains and escalators, all without any problem. Maybe I didn't look too :suspect:

    Tripod suggestions?

I've just bought a Redsnapper tripod - RS-283, with RSH-24 head - and am more than pleased with it. Build quality is excellent and it comes with a quality carry case, all for 50 notes

    Black Rapid R Straps

I also use one of these - the RS-5 - and find it a fantastic strap, very comfortable and easy to use. The only downside is I wish I had bought the RS-4 instead as I find the RS-5 quite bulky with the extra storage (which I never use), other than that I can't fault it .

How to Take Stunning Pictures On TV

I would have to agree with previous sentiments that the programme was pretty rubbish  :shake: I don't know what I was expecting, but It didn't tell me anything that I havent already read or learned about in this most excellent of forums

    Hello people......

Hi folks, I joined the forum a couple of weeks ago, so I thought it was about time I said hello. Last October I thought I could live without my dslr - Canon 350d - so I sold it and all the associated bits'n'bobs and bought myself a Canon G10. However, a few weeks ago - despite the G10 being a...
