Hi Stuart.
I spent a bit of time looking around at what was available and found the DO Mk2 to be a rarity and when a good one came up, it was over what I was looking to pay. I ended up taking a bit of a punt and purchased a 200-800. My thought process was that if it was 'No good in UK weather'...
Decided to give the 200-800 a go. Worst case I will move it on if it doesn't deliver. Reviews appear positive and it's a much cheaper option than any of the big white lens alternatives.
Will give it a go for the year and see how I feel about it.
Ordered through Panamoz as I do with most of my...

It's been a fair while since i've posted on here, but thought i'd ask you fonts of all knowledge for opinions. I know you're not short of those

Been a fair while since I've posted on here, but I'm always lurking around.
Recently bought an R7 moving on my 7d2. I still have a 1dx2 which I don't think I'll ever sell. Famous last words.

I appreciate that. Had found this thread via an internet search and as others had posted a few images I thought I would do likewise. Maybe the next person to do that same search will benefit even if it's by deciding to do something completely different to me.
Have found my local parkrun over the last week or two. Was out walking my local lake that I do pretty much twice a day and found the parkrun going on. So I thought i'd go back at the same time the following week with my camera. I really like people photography and this was a good way of...
I'm sure this has been asked 100s of times before, but hey questions keep the forum busy don't they?
I'm very much a stills man only using an old GoPro for incar really footage a few times a year. With that I use Windows movie maker to cut to length and make it ready for you tube.

Indeed, but I can get a new one for £3.500. I know it comes with a card and an extra battery, but for the money I'd sooner have new.

Have given it a good bit of consideration and I think I'm set on a 1dx2, a 100-400 ii and a x1.4 mk3
The new camera will replace the 1d4 and potentially also either the 7d2 or the 5d3. I need to make my mind up there.
