why not a used D700, ive done a few weddings with mine and had some great shots. ive been very happy with the camera since i got it,ive had a few nikons starting with a D50 then D200 and feel more comfortable with the D700 with grip, function layouts are good and feels like tipical great nikon...

i heard about this and may pop out later for a few shots but interested to see the post about full moon being flatter due to the angle of the light and that explains the partial moon shots ive seen looking more dramatic than ive taken as ive always tried on full moons, i will have to look up...
