I must admit the pictures that come from the 24-70mm lens are absolutely amazing but that said when you have that attached plus the SB-900 and the weight of the D300 you need arms like Schwarzenegger just to hold the thing up :lol::lol:

Can someone tell me why they bother making a lens that can shoot at 24mm if you cannot actually shoot at 24mm with the on-board flash without having shadows in your pictures?

I have just tried using the SB-900 and i can confirm when i use this flash the shadow goes at 24mm

Its still there at 28mm but just not as much
