Thanks again for the help BB. Sorry to sound dim, but can I ask how you transfer the .AVI files from the card to the PC please? On my PC the .AVI are on a card reader that's plugged into a USB slot.

I've been using the Hahnel Captur system since the D850 first came out Gaz. Once you find your way around, it is extremely useful. Battery life has been very good too. I initially had problems understanding all the modes but a quick call to Hahnel here in the UK proved to be most helpful...
