Well, I don't know if this is helpful but I put my 2p in; I video/shoot dance shows for various people and I always take numerous cameras to get backup/different shots and the colours reproduction out of the camera is always different. The colour match that I use in FCPX has been reasonable...
About a month back I was photographer (and video) at quite a few shows and now the organisers of the shows like what I did and want me sort out prints for the parents. Now this could be awkward but I'm sure I have seen somewhere that I can upload photos and then parents can order prints of...
OK so its getting quite near the time where I can fund some new bits of equipment and I have a plan :)
Now I'm considering a 50D (body only) which is looks to be about £475 (judging by TP) and I reckon I could sell my 500D kit + bag + extra bits for around £375; so it'd be £100 for this...
Thanks for the comments; I was actually on the train but I knew in advance that I would be travelling (it's not often that I do atm) so I set myself up for this one by makign sure i was on the correct side of the train to take the shot. Its probably a little soft due to the PP I did, I put in...
Like it; when I saw the topic this was the first thought that came into my mind. I wish I'd not seen this now as I now have to go and think to something else
Second image after PP is much cleaner, definitely a
TS lenses are good for emulating that effect as well as correcting the perspective of buildings/subject as you've mentioned above. however, it looks a good shot but I'm not convinced that the TS effect does the shot justice, having it all in focus and maybe turning it into a B/W or film type...
OK, so its serious catch up time, not forgotten just busy busy.....
Week 15 - Wrong
Now, I've driven past this sign many times and to me it's just wrong. Not a WOW photo but certainly showing whats wrong. It's crossing the line between this and paradox but I have one coming so there it is...
Dust? I checked not long ago on a high aperture and couldn't see anything; if its that spot then I think its a mark on the backdrop that I didn't clean off/clone out.
You're probably right about the whole statue, but I'm sure I tried it and didn't like it for some reason.
Wrong - well I'm...
Thanks for the comments
ecniv - I know what you are saying here but it might be one of those marmite shots as others have commented it's OK. I might try it again now I have a flash as lighting was the biggest problem on that shot (or the lack of it)
TopBanana - These are just set up in my...
Moderation might be a bit bright, my intention was to try and give it a slightly glowing/stylish feel; that and try and loose the texture of the towel in the background. I need to invest in some background really!
Anyway thanks for the C&C; I'm quite enjoying the 52 atm, although it can be...
Now you mention it I see what you mean about the lighting in the shell, I was struggling to try and minimise the shadow from one flash unit this didn't occur to me, maybe I need a second for things like this.
As for the other, would the photo then look too mundane and borin without the shadow...
