    Fiction, wanted, for chaps

Have been a fan of Terry Pratchett since 1986. Extremely clever individual with fantastic imagination and wit. Don't be put off by the "Sci-fi" label, he writes about the human condition with such piercing insight. The first couple of Discworld novels were slow to start with, but he soon got...

Mod book re Leicester and Notts mods in the 60’s

Looks an interesting read. I'm afraid I was a second generation Mod in Leicester, in the late 70's/early 80's with a Vespa. Although, probably not as vibrant as the 60's, Silver street was a bit of a magnet for me and my mates, though all around the clock tower area had its pubs and night clubs.

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Just a quick heads-up about a potential Fuji meet in London on Sat Feb 16th in meeting forums. It has been evolving for nearly a year, so I thought I'd give it a kick up the a***, and see if it will come about? :)

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I bit the bullet yesterday and ordered the Fuji 100-400mm with 1.4 Teleconverter. An itch I've been wanting to scratch since having the 50-140mm a couple of years ago, and hating it after having a Nikon 70-200mm F/2.8 for years and loving that (Still don't know why it never worked for me?) Well...

I don't know if this is of any help Peter, but I use one of these, and find it invaluable, and also a bit cheaper, with more features; https://www.amazon.co.uk/JJC-Multi-Function-Control-Fujifilm-Replaces/dp/B00GGANE1A
