The other option I guess would be to consider keeping the 600D for when you really need the longer reach - depending on which FF body you're upgrading to, I guess the lack of AF options might be a restriction here though?
I picked one up a few weeks ago from Wilkinson Cameras on eBay for this price - I have to say I'm really impressed. I previously owned the GF3 and non-PZ 14-42 lens, and originally bought the bundle, mainly because of the lens. I have to say that the body is also a nice little upgrade - noise...
I'm afraid I can't recommend anywhere close to Leeds specifically as I live in London (and have always heard good things about Canon Elstree in Hertfordshire). One thing I was going to mention though is whether perhaps the diopter has been knocked so as to make the viewfinder appear out of...
I submitted mine online on Monday, and received an automated e-mail from Canon yesterday (Wednesday), to confirm that this had been approved.
Just waiting for the cheque now!
Got mine today - just wanted to say thanks to the OP for bringing it to my attention - now to find a new home for the 100mm Macro that I bought a few months ago, thinking there was no way I could justify buying this one!
There are a lot of things that I would use eBay for - memory cards are not one of them unfortunately.
I'm sure that the reputable sellers on there probably aren't selling fakes, but if I'm going out for a shoot, the last thing I want to be worrying about is whether or not any of those files are...

Now a class 4 card like this is only guaranteed to give you...
Not quite true, at least according to the MTF-50 charts at dpreview linked here
The L is sharper at f/2.8 and seems to rise to its sharpest at around f/4.
The non-L is sharpest at around f/6.3, but of course, if we are to assume that either will be used as a Macro lens (and therefore perhaps...
This is correct. Although having requested this, it seems it was missed out when the order was shipped. A quick e-mail to HDEW though and they e-mailed a VAT receipt straight back to me.
Hope this helps anyone else out who was wondering whether or not to go with them - so far so good!
I'd still be interested to know whether it was in fact UK stock in the end or not (it would suggest not, but I don't know what the deal with Panasonic warranty claims is then). Obviously, the retailer (Amazon) is your first port of call in the first year, but if this had been eligible for...
