I know what you mean about it shouldn't work, that was one of the reasons I posted it :)
Week 3
Visit to York today and this barge has been sitting there for a while, never shows much change or movement
Thanks for all the comments people :) as always, encouraging
I love happenstance, the thrill of the unexpected and am using film a bit more now to encourage that
Week 2
This is just down the road from where I work and is a shot of the Wiske on its way to the Swale, but being about 10x wider...
WEEK 1
Well this seems like a good idea and here is my choice for this weeks photograph
It's already been shown on the site, but I love the impressionistic quality of this image, and the fact that it arose from a mistake
It was a 30 second exposure, but I hadn't been watching the tide...
We have no problems with things like this
I don't ask how much she spends in Harvey Nichols, she doesn't ask how much I spend on camera stuff
(though it isn't much really and we have talked about the 5D MkII and she is fine with it, especially when I showed her those wildlife films)
Those are stunning actually - glad I waited to upgrade :)
Was going to get the 5D but everybody said wait - now to see how much it is when it actually hits the shops
have to agree with the other 2 comments - a PS3 is not only the sensible option it is an attractive option
online/gaming/blu-ray all wrapped into one is excellent
and a Freeview PVR now with an add-on
Hi Pippy
a quick easy way to get data off a drive is to buy a USB to IDE Adaptor cable from Maplin - if your hard drive is SATA there is also a cable for that
basically it turns it into an external drive
