    Feeling fed up! Nikon D7000

Right, I'm now (2 years on) pretty pleased with the camera and its capabilities - robbie, you've reminded me of this thread - so thanks! I think reflecting it was struggling with a load of settings (A-S-C, 3D etc) and also that because it was a new camera somehow it would be able to capture the...

Nikon 17-55 mm lens 2.8 - is it ruined?

Well I've cleared 80% of these and am going to stop for a bit, I can easily edit the pics I've taken to remove belimshes, which I will do until i finish my summer break when I will address the other 20%. What a real pain...

Tutorial Sensor Cleaning - My Copperhill Style cleaning

Well I have tried and have had a much better sensor clear up, it's not perfect but I've removed 80% of the dust on the lens. I think I will admit defeat over the other 20% and get it cleaned "professionally" after my summerh olidays which are sadly happening too soon to get this cleaned and back...

Nikon 17-55 mm lens 2.8 - is it ruined?

I was going to post an update to say it's all done, but it's not! Certainly a good chunk of spots have gone, but a few more have appeared, but it's certainly progress, especially in comparison to how it was... Pic 1 at f16 Pic 2 clouds at f22 Do I assume that simple perseverance is all...

Nikon 17-55 mm lens 2.8 - is it ruined?

in which case, I take the lens off, and the "mirror" I give a clean with a lens pen or equivalent, or will that be asking for trouble?

Nikon 17-55 mm lens 2.8 - is it ruined?

This is odd, as I've never noticed the spotting on the 50mm lens, so am going back to double check...

Nikon 17-55 mm lens 2.8 - is it ruined?

Strange! The 50 mm has loads of spots on now, I will double check the results for peace of mind... 50mm at 16 - the highest it would go 17mm at 22 17mm at 16 for comparison

Nikon 17-55 mm lens 2.8 - is it ruined?

Nikon 17-55 mm lens 2.8 - is it ruined?

I bought a year ago lens off chap on this forum and have been delighted with it. However in the past few months, I have noticed marks where paint(?) has come away from the top of the lens - and this results in messy photos being produced where dots are appearing on pictures. Initially I...

The universal trigger interface (The little box)

Registering interest too, but dependant on cost! Are we looking at closer to £300 or £50?

School Prom Pics - But how?!

I assumed (and you know the danger of assumptions - it makes an ASS out of U and ME) that 4 meg would be ample as it's only going to be printed at upto A5 size (half A4)... Will check my settings, I think I had the same settings as you recommend Byker28i, if it's good enough for you, it's good...

School Prom Pics - But how?!

Golly! That's certainly a lot of kit - and your results show that! I am guessing (without going into exact figures) you're looking at at least 10k of equipment. We're coming from very different financial perspectives - and I guess the end results are worth every penny. Have a great day, and...

School Prom Pics - But how?!

Also rainhill, the pics look great to be honest. It's just the image quality on the website where students can buy them (starting from a low low price!) where the quality issue rears its ugly head. Kit is fine, used it before for other events and no problem just this one! Sadly, like many...
