A bit late...life has gone crazy again, but I thought this one might just fit the bill. My husband and stepson presenting me with the delicious cake my (non-baking) daughter had made for my birthday. Family life. Thank goodness for it :)

Great shot for clean Dominic - so sharp! I agree that the black offers great contrast to those brightly coloured balls - certainly lots of curves there :)

It is a pity about the top of the railway bridge, but I love the curves of the tracks through. Pity it wasn't a week later!

I feel your pain on the contrast shot Mark - those set ups can be SO frustrating!! I'd probably have tried more directional lighting, perhaps a lower pov/shallower depth of field to generate interest in s different way, but that might not have been at all the shot you were looking for. Huge...
