I finally got hold of my Z 7II … the first photo had to be of my dog of course—just a snap.
I did have a panic moment though … I put the battery in and it was completely dead. I nearly had a heart attack but charged and all's right with the camera!.

I have a Nikon D750 and while I still enjoy photography with it, I’m no longer in love with it. I find it heavy to carry all the time on the off chance so only take it when I’m really in the right mood, which invariably means I don’t have it when I see something really exciting.

In terms of electronics ... I always think of "character" as meaning something which isn't perfect and even has some flaws, but is a pleasure to use / listen to / look at.
Its the difference (to my mind) between photography as a science and photography as an art.
