I have the G version and it's amazing. I have not had any issues with Nikon doing any work on it. they took it in no problem.

Look at stalking clothing. Designed to get wind and waterproof but also silent. Its what I use

I have a thermal monocular that I have used quite a lot for looking for wildlife. Birds are not easy to spot in trees as the leaves and the feathers are very good at blocking the heat signature. Mammals are much easier to spot. I often use that instead of my binoculars.

I'm an NPS member and registered to go on the priority list the day of the launch. I spoke to them yesterday and was not told it would be that soon. I should know more tomorrow or Thursday.
