I use either a Peak Design Slide Lite or a Peak Design Cuff whenever I go out to make some photographs (You don't take a photograph, you make it. - Ansel Adams).
I've got a MacBook Pro M1 with 16GB and it runs were fast compare to my previous MBP 2012. I do not know for sure if 48 will be an over kill, or not. More RAM is always better, but you have to have a upper limit.

Agree that Capture One's move towards subscriptions is not something I like at all. Totally the wrong decision, but I did get a good price during Black Week for a year's subscription.
I have been using Capture One Pro for some years now, and it has become my primary working tool when I editing my photos, together with Affinity Photo and ON1 NoNoise AI. Very satisfied with the software, not so much with the company's new price policy.
Never bothered to jump into the Adobe...
I used to use 1Password, but it was to costly, so I changed to Proton Pass instead. 1Password is more advanced, but hopefully Proton Pass will catch up eventually somewhere down the road.
I have a perpetual license for C1 22, and had a subscription as a teacher until August this year. Probably will get a new. subscription through Adorama. You'll get a license for $129.
Even if C1 is too expensive for me at the regular price tag, I hope I’ll be able to find a good BF deal so that I can continue to use the Pro version without breaking the bank.
I have tested both DxO Photolab and ON1 Raw, but I never really liked them. Regarding the LR, I haven’t been testing...
At the moment, until I have decided whether to update my C1 or not, I am using the Fuji Raw converter as well (a stripped down C1 Pro). But I am missing some of the tools from the Pro version. I decide tomorrow if I will go for the Pro version again. It depends on if I can find a good BF price...
My Fuji X-H1 fits much better in my hand, than my X-T4. I even bought a SmallRig L-bracket just to make it easier to use the T4, but I still feel that the H1 fits better in my hand. But I do use both of the cameras, they both have their pros and cons.
They should change their company name to »Capture Your Money»
Apart from their completely odd behaviour towards their loyal customers and users, I find their software IMHO one of the best for my purpose, i.e. it suits my way of editing photos. But it is way too expensive.
Got a similar offer, and what not that kind of offer I wanted. I do not need the Capture One Pro Studio Extra Everything, only need the regular Capture One Pro.
Nowadays most photo editing softwares need to phone home once in a while. So it's difficult to go totally disconnected from the internet for a longer period of time.
