I used to use Zenfolio and had to change due to poor image loading, the ghastly shop page and all sorts of other matters. Really frustrating.
Temporarily I used ShootProof but there were no SEO capabilities which is something to consider when changing as, in fairness to Zenfolio, this did work...
I do event photography in the summer and have a photo printing service and sell digital files and prints from my website.
I've stopped my subscription with Zenfolio and changed over to TheImageFile https://www.theimagefile.com
Very happy customer so far in my first three months. Zenfolio, in...
Hope this is okay to post here! I have an equine event on Sunday 22nd April 2018 (which was only confirmed on Thursday!) and need another photographer. It's between Gloucester and Bristol so would suit someone living in that area.
Only two requirement is that you have a DSLR with a 70-200mm...
We use John Lewis for home insurance (about £100 for contents without the camera and no buildings as we rent) and I use Hiscox for my camera equipment (was Cliik previously till Cliik was taken over/bought) for my camera and studio/computer equipment and public liability/professional indemnity...
Thank you, Peter - love comments like that! Very kind of you but there are plenty of better photographers than me.
Re the new website, there are faults with Photoshoot (as there are with Zenfolio) and I don't think any provider will be 100% perfect unless one is prepared to pay probably a good...
I think I might have found an alternative: Shootproof - just on a trial version I've sold more off this than Zenfolio, am paying no commission on the sales and (at the moment) the monthly subscription rate is cheaper. I had a look at Wordpress and it's not out of the question at all. Thanks...
I've been a supporter of Zenfolio for 3-4 years but in recent weeks I've spent many an hour looking elsewhere. The final two straws came when they decided to charge 7% for self-fulfilling an order (I pay them an annual subscription!) and now the new shopping experience is really off-putting for...
I've just booked ours in for a service and MoT - hopefully it will come back clean.
If not it will have to wait another year for the next service - and possible clean.
We've two cars - nothing special as they're a 54 plate 150k+ Land Cruiser and an 09 plate Mazda 2 with around 50k (at least). The latter isn't worth more than £1k max if that, but we are very fond of our land cruiser - more sentimental than monetary value.
I've been reading all the posts...
Samsung (Seagate?) External drives from Amazon have served me well. Last two have been 2Tb drives and have been in daily use for about a year but are nearly full now.
I keep all my raw files. Well, just about all of them (probably 99%).
When I started with digital photography and learned about the value of raw files I made an effort to keep them and back them up too. In Lightroom, I have kept most of the dng files too and export my files from there to...
