Thank u all for your advice, I have explored all avenues and still no joy! Spoke to Nikon, ad they have said I can send free post to them to see what issues is, has anyone had dealings with the service before. It is not recognising the memory cards at all, so hoping something simple, :(

Yes it flashes all of the time, I did remove & refit the lens, I will try the cleaning & a reset too thanks x
