Fuel is someone extracting the urine

A bit more information which to some might be of interest. Some of these tankers might have moved since I looked them up earlier. The tankers off Anglesey: Atlantic Emerald from Arzew (Algeria) 109,201 tonnes Crude Oil, almost certainly for Tranmere. Hafnia Triton from Sullom Voe (UK) for...

My avatar is the cap badge of Trident Tankers, with whom I sailed for some 10 years as a Lecky (Electrical Officer), which could, or perhaps, should, explain my sense of humour.;)

Perhaps I should explain that I would only get into that position for a nuclear attack, as my chances of recovering from it and returning to any semblance of a vertical stance are somewhere between zero and infinite. :D

When needed, my preparation for a nuclear attack is very simple. Remove all my clothing, sit in my most comfortable armchair with my legs apart to their fullest extent and kiss my a**e goodbye.

"The X-H1 feels more solid (to me) than the X-H2." Although I only handled the X-H2 for 20 minutes or so in my local camera shop, I had the same impression.

    WAMT....what annoyed me today!

I was once fortunate enough to see Bob Monkhouse live. When he got into his stride the whole audience was laughing to such an extent he had to pause before continuing. The one I still remember is this one, no swearing or offensive language which is so common nowadays, just a little story. He...

If at first you don't succeed, give up, have a cup/glass/mug of your favourite drink and try again tomorrow.

I am a firm believer in synchronicity, which worked for you regarding the 500 f5.6 in that it put you in the right place at the right time. It also removes any feeling of guilt at spending the money.:)

Best wishes to the both of you, I was where you are now a few years ago. I agree that the NHS cancer treatment is wonderful.

:agree: with that, a few months ago I saw a boxed near mint one in my local camera shop at around £400 less that the current model. I bought it to try my hand at wide angle and I'm delighted with it. Now, somewhat impatiently, waiting for drier, warmer weather.

I have two because they suit my hands so well and I felt I needed a spare. In my opinion, and it is just an opinion :) it's built to a higher standard than the X-H2, although that is based solely on a half hour try out in my local camera shop. Because of the way my life is at the moment I have...

    Scratching the medium format itch

When I joined the then local, camera club, and got to know a few of the members, one of whom had a fair collection of the expensive end of Canon's lens range, I mentioned their cost. His comment was " Chris, always remember this, you buy cameras, but you invest in lenses".
