This is stunning, there is something so dreamy and beautiful about this that the 1.8 just cant seem to do. Its shots like this that make people want DSLR'S and fast glass :)

I am seriously tempted to go the extra for the 5d especially as there getting cheap now, i was trying to sensible in thinking about a 30d but the more i think about it....... ;)

It was reversed straight on the body via a £2 ebay adapter ;) If i remember right it was f/8 @18mm, about 3x magnification, working distance is about 6"@55mm and about 1.5"@18mm (measured from the end of the lens)

Thinking of selling my 1000d and getting a 30d, the ergonomics of the 1000d are getting annoying now so need something bigger and want the dual exp dials, im also pretty skint so the 30d seems to fit the bill. How will the ISO performance compare to the 1000d? what i see online the 30d looks...

A friend of mine shoots nikon and i was thinking about that for him, i think it might possibly work on the old 28-80mm af nikon, as far as im aware it should work on any lens with a front focusing group (thats just my thoery, please dont hold me to that)
