    Nikon F100 Front Dial Issue?

New batteries didn't work at all. HOWEVER - I've just been spinning the dial and using an air blower while I spin it to try and get something moving inside, and I've just managed to turn Custom Setting 12 on, so now I can use the back dial to change aperture hahahaha so I can actually use the...

    Nikon F100 Front Dial Issue?

None of my lenses have aperture rings. But they are having their apertures locked wide open via the mechanical lever when you twist them onto the body. As said a couple of times, custom function 22 is already set off - also I am unable to change any custom functions due to the dial being needed.

The reviews that the D5000 has got are very good, but it's kinda expensive.

So far I'm leaning towards a Nikon D3000 body with a Nikon 50mm lens, but I'll keep looking. :)

Hey guys. I'm new to photography overall and I want to get my first SLR as I'm going to college soon and I'm taking Photography and I want to get into it. As cheap as possible really. £400 maximum. I love taking Macro shots and image quality is the main factor for me. Any...
