    Samsung Gear 360

Hello, First post in years! Thought I would treat myself to a basic 360 camera and bought the Samsung Gear 360 second hand. Impressions are okay. I do like the 360 photos and videos but quality isn't great. Does anyone know if I am sharing the videos and content as jpeg and mp4, how the others...

Why is my image not sharp?

I was trying out my new D7100 along with my 70-200 f4 Nikon. Some of the shots were great but others didn't come out sharp and in some cases very dissappointingly blurry. Here is an example: shot at 200mm, f4 1/1600s ISO 250, handheld with Normal VR on at full. Focus was on the top of the...

    70 - 200 f4 nikon

Does anyone own or had anyone tested this lens? I've read good reviews about it and wondering if I should be getting this lens over the sigma or tamron 2.8 lenses for my d7000. Is it much more compact and portable than the other 2.8 lenses? This extra portability is a plus point. The obvious...

    Nikon Walkabout Lens (£500 Budget)

It's hard not recommend anything other than the 17-55 nikon as a kit lens replacement and an all round lens. The 16-85 is a more versatile focal length but much slower. Having gone for a 2.8 zoom, can't imagine going back to a variable aperture lens. I got my 17-55 on tp for £500. If you're...

    full frame choice

As per other replies, I would agree and stick with your d3200. As you're only new to photography for a month this is the ideal camera. Learn your camera inside out, invest in a good book instead of a new ff camera, use the net to learn, use this forum. Once you have mastered your camera and are...

    Variable nd filters

Has anyone got experience of these? I was thinking of getting one instead of multiple nd filters of different strength. I don't use these too often so not wanting to spend a huge amount of money on this.

    Tips for shooting newborns/babies?

First of all congratulations! I'm also a recent father with my little one just turned 3 months too. My tips would be to practise lots add stated above. I've taken thousands of photos already, some are great some are terrible but you learn as you go. I've tried to pose my son, but i find it too...

    D5100 or D3100 deal

The other option for your budget, if you're not fussed about the 55-200, would be to get the d3100 body and get the 35mm f1.8. Total would be a little over £400 new. Fantastic pairing.

    D5100 or D3100 deal

Both are excellent cameras. Whichever you buy I'm sure you will be happy with, as a d3100 owner. The question on the lenses depends on what you shoot. If you use the zoom range of your previous camera for the likes of wildlife, then it makes sense to go for the d3100 deal with the zoom lens...

    Nikon 17-55mm or 16-85mm?

+1 for the 17 - 55. Although, one thing going against it is that it is much heavier and bulkier than the 16 - 85. I bought mine 2nd hand on this forum and I'm really pleased with it.

    Belissimo albums vs MTA madrid

Just a quick bump. Anyone have any experience with these photobooks?

    Belissimo albums vs MTA madrid

I've been looking at wedding albums and wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between the Loxley Belissimo albums vs the DSCL MTA Madrid albums? My own wedding album is a belissimo so I'm aware of the quality and what its like. What is the difference with the MTA range?

    Back-focus advice on D7000

I've had the 17-55 attached to my d3100 and never noticed any problems. I'll re check this tonight. I did a -20 fine tune last night to check the effect and at 17mm its not perfect but usable. It seems to not have affected the 55mm focal length. The focus on this is still spot on.

    Back-focus advice on D7000

So, finally got my D7000 the other day from Amazon after Citylink lost my first camera! Just trying to get to the grips with it at the moment with my 17-55mm. I know there have been lots of threads and talk of the back-focus issue with the D7000 but not managed to find the answer to one...

Advice on a lens to buy please

Paired with the D7000, the 35mm is the best bet. Good walkaround lens at a good focal length and it's cheap as chips!
