If the service exists it should be used. Abroad-buyers are taking a bigger risk anyway, using a service with a shady rep, no warranty, and unverifiable until the transaction's completed. Risk + reward.. if the risk was low I'm sure we'd all be using it, and the price would be higher. Simple...

I joined the G1Xclub (albeit later than you guys). Paid £375 for mine, and its very good! haven't yet played with al lthe settings yet though..

I got a cool little case for my g1x - haven't really been able to find it anywhere on the internet. I ordered from SLRHut (paid £12.50 for the case). The case wasn't at all as described on their site but is a good and useful case nonetheless. This is the link to it...
