You will want to update to the latest firmware 4.0. Lots of additional goodies in there, not least of all USB support in Windows 10, which came with 3.01.

Were you shooting with any sort of bracketing or with filters?

Oh I see. Now I understand what DigitalRev were on about :) You can continue to upload images to Flickr through the web interface or direct from Lightroom and iPhoto for free. There's a bit more info in this help forum post.

Hi Allen. Not knowing the exact content of the email, I would imagine you received 30 days free Pro trial when you signed up and the account should revert to the free option when that expires. The email is probably just prompting you if you want to continue with Pro.

It's just me and my cackhanded workflow relying on the back screen to judge exposure with flash :) That and not being able to explain myself properly.

The raw is considerably lighter with more detail in the shadows than the preview. I guess some selective tweaks of the jpeg settings will be required to adjust the preview image. I'll have a play. Or maybe I'm just being a fool to myself as I end up mostly trying to match the jpeg anyway...

I shoot raw only. Is there a way to have the preview image on the back of the camera look more like the raw? Any magic settings? Thanks.

I find it quite inspiring the variety of wildlife you find on your doorstep. The baby muntjac is adorable. You really should set up a B&B for photographers :) And there's nothing boring about your flower shots. Keep them coming.
