Tim Parkin & Joe Cornish have just released a new subscription based online magazine (first issue is free). The magazine has video content, locaion guides and great articles. I have just watched the JC video about himself editing a photo in PS - very interesting indeed...

I use the flickr DNA & Explore Scout by Big Huge Labs so I can update my own "interesting" album on flickr, i have only had a few photos in explore - I then go onto the big huge labs today and this appears:

I am running the 2010 Baxters River Ness 10K on the 3rd October to raise money for the Stroke Association.
I have opted to raise money for this charity as my uncle-in-law to be, Eric Ellington, passed away last month suffering from a stroke.

i have just ordered the Benro C269 tripod, b-1 ballhead and pu-70 QRP from ebay and the kirk L bracket from warehouse express . . should definately be an improvement for useability and portability compared to my trusty old 055CLB and 3 way manfrotto head!

can anyone recommend a website where I can produce a photobook to custom dimensions, had a look and there only seems to be standard sizes

ah that will be it then, when i processed the DNGs through CS3 the TIFF settings were 8bit, just hadnt occoured to me to change the TIFF default settings on LR2!

whether its coincidence or not, ever since i installed LR2 on the same machine as CS3, the "save as" file options on CS3 is extremely limited not allowing me to save as JPEG amongst others. the CR2 files have been processed through LR2 then saved as TIFFs. when i take the TIFF into CS3 it is...
