Am off on me hols soon and wouldn't mind trying my hand at long exposure ND stuff. Can anyone of you intellectual beings advise me on what filter kit I should get that won't break the bank...? Cheers

Wow! I'm possibly more confuddled now... The reason I asked is because I was playing with a lens on different bodies. One FF and the other cropped. At the same focal length and aperture, the crop sensor seemed to have a wider DOF. To acheive the same DOF on the FF I had to go f/16 or above...

Is the DOF narrower on FF compared to a crop sensor?

I did exactly that before, but at f2.8. The 70-200 was a tad darker in the mid tones, but contrast and colour better IMO...go figure:shrug: my zoom is Sigma, prime is Canon USM. I'd post 'em but I deleted them...

Yes. The af points don't illuminate until they've focused. In very low light, you can't see the black af point in the viewfinder, so you don't know exactly where you're focusing until it illuminates and flashes red telling you it's focused.....

In low light the AF points are impossible to see....It's an old gripe, but has Canon done anything about this yet? I can\t find any way around it...
