How about using more HD webcams? A couple of external PTZ cameras fed and powered by ethernet cables might cover your garden and could be sited close to your feeders. You could have more fun with those but you wouldn't get the same quality though they would be good enough show on a monitor...

I've heard of eagles spooking their prey causing it to run over a cliff but I can't think what it intended to do with claws in the chamois's back. It couldn't lift the chamois off the ground. Interesting bit of film nevertheless.
