:)I use 2GB cards and a HD Backup device. While filling the second card I can download the first and then re-use it. Memory capacity no longer a problem!:)

I'm an ex 350D user now using a 40D. Both are excellent cameras. I can't imagine the 400 and 450D are any worse than the 350. My advice, get the cheaper 400D and invest the differnce in a quality lens, the EF-S 17-55mm f2.8 IS is awsome!

Just a quick reply for the mAh question. This refers to the amount of current a battery can supply as in 2700 milli Amps per Hour (mAh) and generally speaking, the higher the rating the longer the battery will last between charges. Oh, and yes, if your still getting long recycle times after...
