Yes as Planky said, it just happens in the background. What I think is good is the amount of backups it makes but takes not too much hard drive space up. Timecapsule gets my vote

Well the camera perfomed OK all weekend. No focussing problems at all. Thanks for the tip.

OK, finally got round to getting a rocket blower. Put the mirror up, blasted out, and tested. First 10 random photos all focussed OK. Testing this weekend in London for the marathon, so will let you know. Fingers crossed.

OK cheers for that, I will give it a try. How do you lock the mirror up?? I might have to google that one.

Hi all After a bit of advice ref by D80 if possible. It has started to have focussing problems. First noticed on landscapes with near and far objects and seemed to be getting confused and unable to focus. I have tried different lenses and it does this on all, so it isn't a lens problem...

I have been twice and never had a problem. Just keep everything close to hand as you would in any large city. I used by backpack camera bag and no worries.

One of the best apps for info on planes is plane finder. Available in 2 versions plane finder free shows your location (or any location you want to go to) and shows planes flying over with their call sign Etc. If you go for the full version (£2.99) you get the aircraft type, route, height...

Superb scanner thanks. Just done some negatives from 10 years ago and the quality is excellent. They were done on standard settings. Just need to play now and trial different settings to get the best result.

Thanks for the info....... looking like the Epson V500 might just win this one. No rush to do them but would like them all digitised, so looks like a winter project.
