    Canon 2x extender mark iii

I was using a 2x mkII on my 5DmkIV with a 100-400 f4 Canon lens. It was giving me all sorts of problems and I didn't know where to lay the blame, until I paid out for a Canon video tutorial about my 5DmkIV body, done by Nina Bailey. She explained that you don't just loose light but depending on...

    Beginner Minor focusing issue

I don't know the camera but with some, when using a single point for focussing, you can move your single point from the centre. This hasn't happened by accident has it?

    Camera backpack recommendations please

I've been looking into using a standard backpack but had been put off by the thought of my gear being loose and only protected by what I concocted. I hadn't seen these inserts before. Great idea and not overpriced. Thanks.

My camera at the time was a Praktica B200, I came away with two Pakticar zoom lenses that covered the range between about 30mm and 200mm.

I've been to a couple. What I like is going around the smaller stalls, just to see what is 'out there', accessory wise. I remember once while working away in Dagenham I went all the way across London to Uxbridge, (I think) Just to visit a camera shop that was like a little supermarket. (It used...

Improving user experience of photography for amateur photographers

I recently went to Donnington with my brother, who at the age of 60 is wanting to improve on the pictures he has been taking. He was using a Lumix DMC-FZ1000, which is, from what I could see, quite a capeable bridge camera. This is not a camera he picked for himself but a 'hand me up' from his...

    Hi.

Hi there everyone. Just a quick introduction of myself. I took my first photos, using my mum's Kodak Instamatic, when I was about 10yrs old at Oulton Park and have enjoyed taking pictures ever since. I'm now almost retired. My first SLR was a Praktica LB2 So I learnt mostly on film. I had a...
