    Phew cancelling sky

I’d had Sky since day one and like most found it getting expensive. When I went to cancel 3 years ago the girl on the phone asked what it would take for me to stay I said ‘let me have it for nothing’. I got it for free for a year then phoned up and still cancelled it

    Cannot Uninstall Programs Windows 10

Hi, this is really starting to frustrate me. I want to uninstall some programs from my laptop, I go into Control Panel and then the programs bit. When I hover the cursor over Uninstall Programs to bring up the program list the cursor changes to the finger shaped pointer, when I click on it...

    More (Car) insurance fun

My sister in law was with Sheila's Wheels and her renewal was £577 yet a quote on comparison site came out as £260. My house insurance nearly doubled yet I hadn't made a claim when I phoned and said I was going elsewhere they dropped it to less than my previous year

    'Clarkson' Parking

The minimum recommended size of a car parking space is 4.8m x 2.4m. If the driver of the GTO parked central in the bay it would give them 280mm each side to get out. By the time you take the depth of the door off it doesn't leave a lot. Car parking spaces are to small and drivers will park to...

    Immersion heaters

As you said leave it on, or you'll be heating the water from cold. If it's on Economy 7 you should have 2 immersion heaters, one will be used Off Peak the other will be there to boost it if you should use all the hot water. Both can be left on as the internal thermostats will regulate when they...

    Any Electricians out there?

As a rule of thumb 6mm for a 32a supply. I'm assuming it's steel wire armoured as you've said its 2 core and using the armour for the earth. Most sparks would run a 3 core nowadays.

    Drone Aerial Photography

With a GoPro attached they are brilliant, the image quality from the camera is excellent. I have mine set on video/photo mode so it will video and take a photo every 5 seconds.

    Drone Aerial Photography

Don't know if it's the same report but I read where someone in the US had shot down a drone and was arrested and charged with firearms offences and looking at a lengthy spell in the clink

    Drone Aerial Photography

I had thought of this, but seeing other discussions on UAV sites I don't think whoever shot one would have their licence or freedom for a while.

    Drone Aerial Photography

I was surprised at how accurate it was, it touched down a couple of feet away from take off point. It then took off again a metre off the ground and moved the couple of feet and then landed. I wouldn't want to try it with a load of trees around as I think it would collide en route back.
