Mono image from a walk around a very still Llyn Padarn, Llanberis, earlier today. OMD EM1iii & 12-40 Pro.

Some textures in the trees on a walk at the weekend, this was taken in an old Atlantic oak woodland in North Wales. I am very impressed with the images from the EM1iii and 40-150mm pro lens.

Thanks for that, really useful information in my quest to start bird photography. I have been watching Peter Forsgard’s YouTube videos, they are interesting.

Liking the buzzard pics, we have a pair locally I must try to photograph. Just learning the new system first, having switched from full frame to Olympus - I have the em1iii with 300mm pro and 1.4 converter, looks like I need the EE-1 dot sight too!

I have seen a lot of praise for the Star Adventurer mount.

@trevorbray The weight, too much for my aging body to carry round the hills! The smaller sony body was lighter than nikons, but the better lenses were just as heavy. Really pleased with the olympus, and I don’t have a problem using topaz denoise on some images. So far I am very pleased.

I have just changed systems from Sony to Olympus, and have the EM1iii with 12-40, 40-150 and 300mm lenses and the MC-14. The 300mm is just incredible, though the 100-400 may be more flexible. One of my mates has that lens and is really pleased with it. I am wanting to do some macro work, I have...
