what wide lens would you recommend

thanks i i mainly like to shoot whilst iam out walking mainly anything that catches my eye that looks interesting

i have a 400d with a sigma 17-70mm and a canon 55-250 IS a lowepro slingshot bag and a small tripod and a selection of filters i have about £140 to spend on some extra kit what would you get

does anyone know of anywhere that has the Canon 55-250mm IS in stock at a reasonable price

thats what i thought from reading all the lens reviews but just wondered if there was anything to match it maybe with IS without jumping to sky high prices i had a dedicated macro the sigma 105 but didn,t get alot of use from it as zooms go iam looking at the moment after selling my sigma...

nothing wrong with it its a nice lens just got some money burning a hole in my pocket

sigma 17-70mm upgrade i have abit of spare cash and iam thinking of upgrading my 17-70mm i will have about £270 to spend new or second hand do any of you any recommendations you can give on a new walk about lens

Canon 55-250mm F/4-F5.6 IS or the canon 70-200mm f/4L any opinions on these 2 lens is the L lens worth the extra £100

no as far as iam aware but not 100 % there are two models Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 EX DC Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 EX DC MACRO i think the latter is a newer model i was wanting to know if it is inferior to the newer macro model

Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 EX DC or Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 EX DG macro whats the difference is it the quality between the two
