you need to be using your lens hoods all the time. the lens hood is there for two reasons 1. to stop unwanted lens flare which affects colour and contrast and 2. to protect your lens.
just uploaded @ 300dpi as thought uploading the original max dpi would give me a better image than reduced? I searched the printers website but couldnt find a reason why it was reduced.
Can anyone help?
I have prepared 16x12 images to go to print @ 300dpi but when I upload them the the company print page it says 238dpi?
Am I doing something wrong or do print companies reduce the dpi to suit?

I ordered some motocross prints recently and was surprised how bad they where when they came back. The images I uploaded were bang on for printing but came back totally blown. Also some of the images I used their previewer to resize, these came back with half the heads cut...
