I'd like to take some pics at our local gun club. Ideally I would like to catch the muzzle flare as the gun goes off. Is there a sound activated shutter release mechanism I can attach to a canon 20D to allow me to catch the shot? Thanks Dave

Plug in an external HD and use Vault to back up the photos. If you spend the time tagging the photos with keywords you should be able to browse through them easily enough.

Have you thought about contact lenses for days when you know you'll be using the camera a lot?

Can the Canon 20D use an IR filter? I remember reading somewhere that the CCD has a filter that cuts out the IR. Hope I'm wrong as I would love to give it a try.

It's not just a console though, stand alone blueray players will be expensive and this has one built in. Was just about to cave in and get a 360, not sure whether to wait for the PS3 or not now :thinking:

Give the S2000 a test drive. I intended to keep mine for 3yrs and then move onto something else. Couldn't bring myself to get rid of it. You need to spend a lot more to get a significant improvement. Never had anything go wrong with it and running costs are pretty low. Was tempted...
