Agree about Mallory. It's down the road from us, a great place to start, loads of different spots around the track to get snapping, and try different techniques etc. Many shots can be taken from an elevated position too, as well as good old low down shots due to fairly low fences.

I have the 50mm & 85mm 1.8G. Both cracking lenses, very light, great colours and contrast. I wouldn't swap them for anything - they are the definition of bang for your buck!

Beautiful day here....took the D750 to our country park this morning and promptly instructed my daughter (and our dog!) to run as quickly as they could directly towards the camera whilst I fired a few bursts. I tried the AF-C group focusing, as well as single point (sometimes off centre too)...

I received my D750 today. Just done some very brief initial testing and it's very impressive indeed - the AF capabilities in virtually complete darkness are astonishing - and the outer AF points are damn near as good as the 9 in the middle, they just 'work' - truly superb AF. :)

Mine arrives tomorrow - according to UPS. Getting quite excited now..

Yikes, let's not start flaming the 24-120 on this thread. It's a solid lens for sure, and has its followers. Anyway, for me it might be a means to an end...

I believe it comes in a larger box, with the lens also inside, probably in a white box of its own. I'll let you know in a couple of days :)

Have you had one? Assuming you know it's the constant f/4 version, and not the previous variable aperture one (which was a lemon) it actually reviews very well as a good general purpose FX walkabout lens, great colours and contrast, and excellent sharpness across the focal range. It doesn't...

Just ordered mine, with the 24-120 kit, thought it was worth it - I'll either keep the lens, or leave it in its box & sell it brand new unused. I had one a couple of years back on my D700, and liked it, but the 24-85 is a cracking little lens as well, and it's a good way of making my D750 body...

Can someone who has bought a D750 from Panamoz tell me what I need to specify? Read something somewhere about need to ask for a UK manual and charger/lead, is there anything else?

Looking at the pics linked on the previous post - I think this is a non-issue. Several other cameras clearly have the same thing when you shoot in such a way as to create the so-called "problem". So I'm now very close to pulling the trigger on one of these. Will more than likely buy from...

I've done a lot of reading about the internal reflection issue, as I'm considering buying a D750. There's a LOT of discussion about it on Fred Miranda forums, and DPReview, but the common consensus seems to be that most of the shots you'll ever shoot into strong sunlight (or other equivalent)...

I'm considering a new body, and Panamoz are offering a very good price. I've bought plenty of stuff from them in the past and paid by bank transfer, great service, no issues, but that was some time ago. Has anyone ordered anything in the last few weeks from them, is it still the same set up...
