Do I have the only Canon 5D MKII Lemon (Refund given by warehouse express)

Quite simply, you should not be fobbed off with excuses. You have shelled out £1600+ for a camera and your contract is with the retailer not the manufacturer. Assuming they have shop go in, plonk it on counter and demand replacement of full refund. If a Mail Order set-up send letter demanding...

You guessed it, another beginner asking what camera to buy.

From my experience, all those years ago, I feel that setting you sights too low can be counter-productive. My first SLR was a Zenith-E, bought off a school mate for £25. It was good for teaching me the basics but it was so simple I found myself wanting something with a bit more pretty soon...

    CANON EF PRIME LENSES

I recently bought my first DSLR - a Canon EOS5D2 - and very pleased I am with it as well. Selling some of my film gear gave me enough to buy the Canon 70-200 f2.8L lens and when compared against the 'plastic' 80-200 Canon lens I was using before, there was no competition. However, I now need to...

    Another Macro question (sorry!)

Yes, they are. I have a set of HOYA ones - they look just like standard screw on filters but with a piece of convex glass instead of a flat piece. Good, cheap way of getting into macro. If you're hooked you can get yourself a proper macro lens. Don't be fooled by zoom lenses claiming to have...

    Tamron 90mm macro on D5000?

nteresting comments... My great love is macro and I've only just gone digital. Really unsure as to what lens to get - I have a Canon FD fit 90/2.5 SP and that is superb on my F1N 35mm SLR. Is the Tamron SP90 (£349) that much worse than the Canon 100mm L series at £809?

    ALAMY

A friend of mine thinks that I could make a few pennies from Alamy. I have tried this site but see that they need picture files no smaller than 45Mb! My EOS5D2 doesn't create files anything like that size - how do people get the files of that size? It's going to take all night to send them! :)...

    SUNPAK 3600 flash

I have an aged but perfectly serviceable Sunpak 3600 hammerhead flashgun. I say that, but I've actually only got 95% of one! :( The sync lead is missing so it cannot be used. I took a chance and ordered one off ebay but it was a 3.5mm>PC lead and the Sunpak looks as if it takes nearer a 2mm size...

    Hello there

Greetings to all members. I'm Dave. I live in Bridport, West Dorset and whilst I have been a keen photographer since I was about 16 (mmmfffhmmm years ago) I have only owned a decent digital camera since January. Prior to that I had a succession of film SLRs. I cut my teeth on a Zenith E - didn't...
