I have just started using the Canon Pixma 9500 MkII, and I am very happy with both colour and B+W.

I have just done a lot of over time lately, so money was sort of no object, in the end. The ironic thing is that all this over time means I have little time at the mo to try out the printer.

Just for the record, I ordered the 9500. There are no papers with it, so it is a bit like being the kid on Christmas day with loads of toys and no batteries.:annoyed:

I was wondering if there was anyone that could advise me as to whether the 9500 is worth the extra money over the 9000.
I have no specific requirements other then high quality prints. Will the quality of the 9500 prints be worth that extra couple hundred quid?

I have always tried to take my D700 everywhere with me, but have now succumbed to buying a Leica D-Lux 5 (not yet arrived on my door step).
No more missed photos for me, just more crap ones.:D

Sorry to disagree, but some of his scapes last years. And who says tanks have to be self sustainable? If you want natural, don`t get them scooped out of the Amazon etc. in the first place (tank bred balloney won`t wash, either). Do we get an "off on a tangent of the year" award?
