its macbook pro 13' mid 2012

my macbook highest resolution is 1280 x800 so am i right in thinking a higher resolution monitor wont be supported? sorry if this is a dumb question

Hello all, I recently purchased a 70-200f2.8 and found it to be an awesome lens, I am now looking to upgrade my kit lens for the shorter focal length, I currently have a 18-105 nikon and I am looking for something that is more equal to the 70-200 in terms of image quality, image sharpness, etc...

I use the 70-300 for dog photography, racing and working dogs, I rarely use the 70-300 at the 300 end and was hoping with the 70-200 I could crop and still have good results
