Again im toying with the idea of selling off the last few bits of my Canon DSLR kit (1dmkII+24-70f2.8+580exII). I was in the Trafford centre today and had a play with the Canon G11, i wasnt impressed coming from a 1dmkII i knew it wouldnt feel very good, but i was shocked how small and flimsy it...

How long did everyone elses take to come who ordered from DarkMutton? been waiting 6 days now and now sign of them.

As im going to try and get back into photography ive ordered a couple of these... great find Mr Ajophotog. And i would advise Darkmutton to put an advert in the forums "Classified" or "Retailer" sections, that way he could get the sales and promotion from TP, and avoid Ebay fees... just a thought.

Thanks for that Mr "All Bar One", but, i simply dont get any pleasure out of photography anymore, i tried differant things to spice it up a little, and my shyness/people skills makes it hard for me to feel comfortable doing it. I have never, imo, taken a good photo... the only one ive done...

Just a quick update, ive decided to keep hold of most of my gear and just sell the stuff i really dont use. :) For Sale Thread That way i keep my glass and 1dmkII, this will leave me with 1 body for the F1 which is a slight concern, but, im hoping to borrow a spare off a friend for that...

Personally i use Crucial in my Macbook Pro, usually good prices and delivery is amazingly quick.

Id definately want a digi-compact, and the Leica D-Lux 3, really is a sexy work of art. Or id stick with Canon and get the G10... but it would only be for blog/snapsnot/ebay type photos.
