Thanks everyone. Some really good tips. Going to see what I can do about a reflector. I might try and find a good aluminum sheet and polish it up a bit. Definitely going with the amateur tools here ;)

Well I'd have to see a larger income in order to warrant spending on a new camera. To be honest while the DSC-H2 is in no way professional quality it still takes good quality, high res pictures if used right. For now it will have to do me :)

Thanks! Good idea, especially in the sunlight. I'm going to bring a laptop with me so that I can let her have a say in what light settings look best and so on. I figure it's best to spend a bit extra time making sure I have good pictures then taking them home and finding out they're blurred or...
