New and amateur photographer. Im 24 years old, and my name's Diogo!
Developed this interest for photography when I started reading about it and when a friend of mine showed me her recent photos and explained to me all of the production behind her good photos.
Since then (2012) I bought my first camera, a Nikon D3300 with a normal 18-55mm lens and started shooting everything in Manual. I have read a couple of books including "Understanding Exposure" and everything made sense for me after that moment.
I really like the street photography but its the one that I found more challenging. I don't feel comfortable taking pictures to people that I don't know, specially when They are not expecting but this is a big challenge for me.
In the future, I want to do a photojournalism course. and I know that one day I will be working and being paid for something that I truly love.
Don't misread my words. I am a very good professional, I work at the hospital as a Cardiology Nurse, and I have been working for almost 3 years now. I love what I do but not always. I dont wake up every morning motivated to go to work. There's something that doesn't feel quite right... and when I found photography... Booom. Something was awaken inside me. I really feel that this is a big opportunity for me in life.
