I managed to get a few good photos. Never seen it so bright and so red! Some people thought at first that there was a new eruption here in Iceland because the sky was bright red! I hope all of you got some great pictures!

I dont recomend whale watching in Reykjavík during the winter. Not much to see(just Minke and you have to be very lucky to see them close), During the summer its fine but If you are driving to the north, do the whale watching there, in Húsavik or Dalvík

Shot at f4, shutterspeed 1/2000 so I wouldn't think a tripod would be needed Yeah I also tried stopping down to f8 and the same results :/ even my close up shots aren't as sharp as that pic Yeah I tried, felt like it wouldn't focus any better always ended up kind of blurry

It is also when i take a picture of a rock that is around 50m away, looks like it is out of focus, but when i try to focus on a object that is close, then it looks decent, ill add a picture in the drive folder of the rock im talking about, i tried everything to make it look sharp

Bought the 16-35mm f4 and WOW the diffrence, i didnt think I'd see this much of a diffrence but its just like the camera got the correct set of glasses and can now see everything! I also feel like the colors look better So to everyone who said buy the 16-35mm f4 i just want to say Thankyou!!
