Thanks very much Mike, its the wix platform but I didnt use a template, just put it together myself. I had a go last night at trying to make it optimised for phones and tablets, looks like i have a long way to go with it but hopefully in time it will display better ! Thanks for the very helpful...

Most likely its because a lot of websites compress the hell out of an image and put it on a low res format.
Worth asking, are you processing it as a 16 bit image ? or an 8 ?
Really nice blog Mike, lots of useful content and great pictures. The only thing id say is its one long continuous one with the subjects starting under the previous, maybe have a page with each of them as a header so people can see a subject that appeals to them in case they stop reading before...
Cant speak of the Epsom but I have owned the Canon PRO 1000 for ages and it has been faultless, the quality of the prints is exceptional.
Frankly I just cant praise it enough, be aware though a full set of ink will set you back around £500 and then theres the dreaded cleaning cycles which there...

I used so many different tripods and was never happy with them till I switched to Gitzo. Granted they are expensive but so far mine has lasted 5 years and I was going through a manfrotto nearly every year so it has paid for itself.

To a degree the above answer still stands, I would reccomend doing your post proccessing in Adobe RGB, and then exporting in SRGB for web which should show minimal difference. I found Pro Photo was way too...
Often caused by masking, but without masking the subject well enough, reduce the pixels on the mask by 1 will sometimes cure it
Mainly its due to over aggressive sharpening though
Not sure If I have got the total wrong end of the stick here but PRO photo will not be showing all its colours on any monitor, most top spec monitors are capable of producing the colour gamut of RGB to around 98-99% of it, SRGB is obviously a much smaller colour space again.

If people are genuinly offended cause someone chooses to name their website after their name and what they do then they really need to get over it and worry about more important things frankly.
