I took your advice and ordered some prints. The good news is they came back without a colour cast. The bad news is they're a little dark (nothing unusable) so I suppose my monitor is still a bit too bright. You live and learn.
Can anyone advise me on how different an image should look when soft proofed on screen using a DSCL printer profile vs. the appearance using my working colour space? I'm editing in Apple's Aperture 3 and find that when I view images using the "onscreen proofing", using the profiles downloaded...
