I think the posting ratio has affected it, i still need to post about 200 times to get my privilege back Not a dealer just an accumulation of posts over the years and a chop and change attitude to lenses!

Looks like the sigma edges it from that review, better corners and sharper at 600mm

I've got one of these and i'm impressed with it, focus speed is excellent. A lot faster than the 55-200/55-300 Shoot with as high an iso as you can and you should be fine for tennis player shots outside Portraits will be best (for bokeh) if you stand back a bit and zoom in

Thanks for taking the time to reply Rob. Was thinking around £750-800 myself.Got my eye on one secondhand elsewhere but they want £950! Think i'll wait for prices to level out before taking the plunge unless a bargain comes up!
