You *can* get close to the track but most likely you’ll be 2 or 3 deep and the bales are high. You might be better with a roving grandstand pass. Thursday used to be quiet now is busy, I expect the weekend will be hellish

Yeah, that 10mm could be an issue. I recall when I used Nikon I had a 10-20 ( I think ) and it was so wide it wasn’t great.. unless you liked shooting basking sharks

Does it work like ( for example ), and iPhone’s long exposure ie taking many images and stacking them in camera ? Is it as simple as that?

For Nikon I currently have a d500, d600 and a few lenses which I haven’t used for 2 years or so. I also have a Fuji XS10 and 4 primes as my travel system.
I’d really like much better AF than the Fuji provides, especially for moving...
