    Discharged batteries and airport scanners?.

They were in my hand luggage, I thought it may be the grip and took it off and inserted each battery in turn but neither had any power. I have now charged both batteries on my return and both are now working normally as is the grip. I have taken them on flights before without a problem the...

    Discharged batteries and airport scanners?.

one is about two years I think the other is around 18 months. I am just wondering if going through four scanners in very short time could be the reason. To be honest I am just relieved it was not something more serious.

Help me spend £250 for nikon dx

I use the Meike grip on my 5100 as I have biggish hands, also balances the camera better with a longer lens. You won't regret it.

    D5100 or 600D

I have a D5100 and love it however what is right for one person is not going to be for another. I was upgrading from a D40x so when I bought mine already had an af-s lens so I stayed with Nikon. As far as I can see the two cameras both have strengths in different areas. IQ in Canon high...

d3100 camera upgrade, what to get?

Have you considered the D5100 and maybe a 35mm f1.8 or 50mm f1.8 lens. a d5100 body will set you back around £500 and the lens about £160 or £170. this will leave some spare cash for a flash or something.
