So I've finally heard back from the insurance company and they've gone for a cash settlement which works for me as now I can get buying some new equipment.

WOW, that is a massive difference and is exactly what I'm getting with the Hi Tech filter. Time to write and e-mail out to HiTech then. Doubt I will get anywhere as I've had it over a year but not used it that much.

Ah right, was worried it was a common thing. I am shooting RAW and just can't correct it enough in PP. Might have to sell it and buy the Lee filter instead then.

Here's an example of an older shot. You can see how much I've increased the blacks and contrast in PP yet on the bottom left it's still pretty flat when it shouldn't be.
